The Yearbook Club will assist the PTO in creating the 2020 - 2021 MPES yearbook. In this special 8 session class, students will learn the basics of good photography, as well as graphic design and computer skills for online page design. When possible, students will be encouraged to take their own photos at school events to upload to the yearbook website for submission. They will help identify students, teachers, and staff in submitted photos and learn how to organize them into useful categories. Students will also design their own club t-shirts and a picture of the Yearbook Club will be included in the yearbook. This year the club will also help us brainstorm and crowd source page content from other families at MPES.
The club will be run using Microsoft Teams. Once you have registered your student, they will be added to the Team where all the information for the club will be accessible. Meetings of the club will be held using meetings in Teams. The program used for the yearbook is online and can be access through a browser with all work saved in the cloud.
This club is sponsored and taught by Sonja Henke of Herff Jones, as well as our yearbook adviser, Robyn Steinberg. This class is limited to 4th graders only.
